Hello world! I want to take my boyfriend out on a birthday-valentine’s kayaking trip but would love to treat him to some really good food during the trip. I have no idea what to pack since I’m not exactly a gourmet cook. He’s a guy who likes pizza and anything chicken. There’s lots of room and I can bring ice for cold drinks but what else can I impress him with? I would appreciate any thoughts on healthy and hearty easy to put together foods please…thanks so much for the ideas!
Spicy fried chicken from Publix with blue cheese dipping sauce.

A big phat snicker bar

Go fish!Aluminum Foil Trout Fillet
1 teaspoon garlic (chopped)
Butter
Parsley (chopped)
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste)
1 Lemon
Aluminum Foil
Serves – 1
Spread out a 12 inch by 12 inch sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil.
Onto the foil, place a trout fillet. Sprinkle on top 1 teaspoon chopped garlic, a few pea sized pieces butter, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Cut up a large lemon into wedges and squeeze the juice from one wedge onto the fish.
Fold the foil into an envelope– like packet. Be sure all the edges are sealed to keep in the steam as it cooks. Place the packet on the grill or onto a bed of hot coals. Cook about 8 minutes, turning every three minutes.
Serve with the remaining lemon wedges.Pack pepperoni and salami and provolone cheese and some Italian dressing and buns for easy sandwich’s, trail mix, And a can of Dinty Moore stew. This is no time to try to learn to be a overnight gourmet camping whiz! Just enjoy your time together, snacks, dip, and some drinks. The great outdoors is the idea! Make some “Smoors” (Graham Crackers with a toasted marshmallow and a piece of Hershey chocolate to melt in between the graham cracker sandwich.) Just have fun!
