Entry from: Nelson, New Zealand Entry Title: “Hiking and Kayaking in Abel Tasman National Park” Entry: “After Kaikoura i spent one night in Nelson. The day after myself and a few others went on a 2 day hiking trip in Abel Tasman National Park. The hike took all day but it was not difficult, pretty flat. The weather was awesome and the views amazing. We camped in Tents on Bark Bay. I was bitten all over by sand flies – so that was annoying and very itchy for a few days! We all had a drink round the camp fire chewing the fat to the wee small hours. The next day we went sea kayaking – it was alot of fun.” Read and see more at: www.travelpod.com Photos from this trip: 1. “Abel tasman1″ 2. “Abel tasman2″ 3. “Abel tasman3″ 4. “Abel tasman4″ 5. “Abel tasman5″ 6. “Abel tasman6″ 7. “Abel tasman8″ 8. “Possum” 9. “Sandfly bay” 10. “Sea kayaking abel tasman” See this TripWow and more at tripwow.tripadvisor.com

Trip to: Abel Tasmen National Park, New Zealand Title: “Kayaking, hiking and being eaten alive” Entry preview: “The Abel Tasman trip was one of our favorite activities in NZ. It is an amazing national park that extends along the coastline of the northwest part of the South Island. There are many ways to explore this area and we chose to do it via 2 days of kayaking and a day of hiking. There are designated campsites and several huts along the way that require prior reservations so we were glad that there was still room for us during this busy summer season! After a rather lengthy process of …” Read and see more at: www.travelpod.com Photos from this trip: 1. “Kayak parking at Anchorage Bay” 2. “Not a bad place to stop for lunch” 3. “Cormorant drying his wings” 4. “Another flying friend” 5. “So beautiful when the sun is out!” 6. “So long kayak, time to hike” 7. “Abel Tasman shoreline” See this TripWow and more at tripwow.tripadvisor.com

I am looking for a personal gps unit for hiking and kayaking. I saw one not too long ago that works very very simply. You turn it on and mark your position when starting out and it tells you how to get back. That’s all it does. It is meant to be worn on a jacket zipper or a lanyard. Can someone tall me where to find it or suggest something else? Thanks in advance.
