The boat of choice is fine roll practice is good for you.Now if at all poss it looks like you should move the seat forward and trim that boat out a bid if you can not you should check out project 62.I work as a video kayak on the New and Gauley river and have had to deal with looking at the sky for years sometimes not where i wanted it kind of sucks. Not being a know it all just sharing what i have learned

I think if you wanna be a critic powskier, you need to get you a camera. Back up your statements! Can you not find one person with a camera in all of Idaho? Have you seen any of his other videos? He’s pretty damn good and we haven’t seen shit from you. Hell, I’ll send you a camera and you can send it back when your done!

@powskier just because you talk to your wife that way doesn’t mean you should talk to everyone else like that. Is it walt or jim either way your mom was the hardest ride I have ever had this season I was rolling all night with her on top of me. She also told me you need to stop touching little suzy down there or she is going to call the cops. I bet you get your ass kicked a lot for all the shit you talk. I will be at the boise river fest this year if you wanna talk shit to my face dicky

Milner is over a 100′/mile. the smith doesn’t compare. The Mississipi runs over 500,000. What does does that mean? The main Slamon at 80,000cfs is bigger than this. You were flailing because you aren’t good enough to paddle a playboat in water like that. None of your insults even apply to me. You are just a pathetic loser who can’t admit they are wrong. Shut the fuck up!

  9. schrekenspoof says:

@powskier This isn’t a conversation its just me letting you know you are a piece of crap you should go wax your cross country skis and go take a stroll to your happy place or did your wife take that away from you too. Go get your balls out of your old ladies purse and show us whatcha got other than maybe arthritis and a bad case of hemroids. Get some footage up so I can talk trash on your stuff. enjoy your day ski bunny

  10. schrekenspoof says:

@powskier milner mile runs at 10k-12k this run on the smith was at like 80k if you run milner mile at 50k I will give you full props but not likely to happen so you suck donkey balls old sweaty ones.

  11. powskier says:

I don’t have a camera. But the Milner mile section on the Snake river blows that shit away. Also, you weren’t playing . The river was playing you.

  12. schrekenspoof says:

@powskier So you run bigger stuff just because you live in Idaho??? But now that i realize you live in Idaho I see your problem. You didn’t even get the boat right dummy. So go and troll somewhere else and when I come out there this summer to run the NF payette I will make sure I fish you out of the water when you are screaming for help. Now go along and play with your skies and drink your latte buddy

  13. paulgamache says:

You’re right a G-force would probably not be the best boat to take down that section.

That’s why I’m in a Kingpin 6.3 which from all accounts is an awesome big water playboat.

What’s bigger in Idaho there bud? Love to see some video of you styling it. You should chill out a bit in your posts and go paddle/ski something.

  14. powskier says:

Your wrong. I run bigger. i live in Idaho, dipshit. I watched it again and he’s a good enough boater but that was a incredibly stupid boat choice is all I’m saying. He’s going to pay some day by running big water in a playboat. Not everyone can be Steve Fischer… especially not him. Had he have not picked such a stupid boat, he might not even have flipped at all. But, hey, don’t say you weren’t warned.

  15. schrekenspoof says:

powskier do you even know what you are talking about you are a skier. Its flood stage kayaking flows were 40k+ more than what the run suggests did you see those logs going downstream? I wanna see you give this a whirl in your boat of choice I think you would piss your pants

  16. powskier says:

Looks like a dagger G-force… way too short and SLOW of a boat for running big water if you ask me. You need to learn to brace. Relying just on your roll is no way to run a drop. You’re going to get your head taken off someday. You should be able to be where ever you want to in that river instead of letting the river control you. Rolling should only be a last resort and rare. Get a longer, faster boat and think old school (aka- slalom racing) and drop the playboat mentality.

  17. Hgreene1130 says:

the boat doesn’t have enough volume for his weight.

  18. tido17 says:

You shouldn’t need that many rolls…

  19. redwineeight says:

you one bad ass kayaker… hooooaaah!!!

  20. aria230 says:

yeh old school does. and i like the term “spate” too

  21. sw3210 says:

your are probably on the money. …nice to hear the term “spate”…….that is cool

    old school still rocks!!!

  22. aria230 says:

fair enough. i would assume that your going to get a beating when a river like that is in spate. just my opinion

  23. sw3210 says:

fair call. its the volume that sticks in holes versus the flushability debate.

  24. aria230 says:

sure…thats why people choose to paddle playboats all over the zambezi, nile and otowa….creekers are a pain on bigwater like that. very hard compared with playboats to get out of bigwater holes…makes beatings 10 times worse.

thats what i was told when i felt the same way as you.

  25. sw3210 says:

that is why play boats suck on big water…no volume
